We can help!
We can help!
Motor City Center for Hope is one of the best-rated mental health counseling providers in the Metro Detroit area. We offer individual, group, couples, and family therapy, as well as anger management, substance misuse, and domestic violence classes. We specialize in psychotherapy and mental health counseling for issues ranging from anxiety and depression to anger, trauma, and PTSD. We strive to help our clients overcome common obstacles and challenges in their lives, and as long as they are willing to put the work in, our clients will achieve positive results with our evidence-based practices.
Individual Therapy
Couples and Family Therapy
Bring your spouse, partner, or your kids with you and meet with one of our experienced therapists together to work through common relationship or family struggles. Out-of-pocket costs start at $65 per session for those without insurance, however, couples/family counseling is covered by most insurances, including Medicaid and Healthy Michigan Plans.
Anger Management Classes
Typically a 12-week program, our curriculum is trusted by courts and employers around the state of Michigan. Groups are generally held weekly via Zoom, but classes can be "doubled up" if availability permits in order for participants to complete the program faster. Out-of-pocket costs start at $15 per class for groups and $55 for individual sessions, but Medicaid recipients are fully covered for both.
Domestic Violence and Substance Misuse Counseling
We don't offer groups for Domestic Violence or Substance Misuse, instead, we treat these issues on an individual basis. Cost and session format are the same for these services as they are for individual therapy. The only difference is that we adhere to a more specialized curriculum designed to meet the standards set by the majority of courts, probation, and parole offices. As such, the treatment focus of these sessions is narrower than it would be for general counseling.
